FAQ
Questions families ask us most.
If you don’t see your question here, just ask — the free intake call is the best place to get specifics for your situation.
Getting started
It begins with a free 20-minute call. You tell us what you’re seeing, we ask a few questions, and we explain what care could look like. If it’s a fit, we build a plan and match a caregiver. There’s no commitment to take that first call.
For many families, within 24 to 72 hours — and faster in urgent situations like a hospital discharge. We sort out timing together on the first call.
Yes, and there’s no obligation. We’d rather you understand your options clearly than feel rushed into anything.
Caregivers & care
We aim for one lead caregiver your parent gets to know well, backed by one trained backup who knows the plan just as thoroughly. So it’s never a stranger starting from zero, even when the lead isn’t available.
Every caregiver is screened, reference-checked, and trained for the care they provide, including memory care. A CNO-registered RN and your care manager oversee every care plan.
The plan is built to flex. Your care manager adjusts hours, tasks, and focus as things change — and tells you when we think a change is needed.
Pricing & logistics
Hourly care starts at $35/hour. Overnight, live-in, and managed plans are quoted to your needs. You get the full breakdown on the free call — with no hidden fees, minimums, or subscriptions.
No long-term contracts. We’ll talk through a sensible visit length so the care is effective, but you’re never locked in.
Across the Greater Toronto Area — Toronto, Mississauga, Brampton, the York Region towns, and Peel & Halton. Not sure if you’re covered? Just ask.
Already have an agency?
Yes. We often work as an add-on agency — extra hours on top of the team you already have. You do not have to switch providers. We fill gaps: more weekly hours, evenings, weekends, overnight, or a language match.
Sometimes. Programs such as auto insurance (HCAI), WSIB, IFHP, and extended benefits may fund additional care hours even when another agency is already involved. Coverage is never guaranteed — on a free call we check what may apply and, when approved, bill the program directly so your out-of-pocket cost may be little or $0. Read about add-on funding →
Clinical & safety
Your dedicated care manager owns the plan and a CNO-registered RN handles anything clinical — wound care, medications, assessments — and coordinates with your family doctor. Every caregiver is screened, trained, and supervised.
Yes — post-hospital is one of the most common reasons families call. We can often have personal care and a plan in place within 24 to 72 hours of discharge.
You get regular updates without having to ask, and a call right away when something needs your attention. One care manager is your single point of contact.
